National University of Therapeutics


F.W. CollinsFounded in 1911, and Chartered by Congress in 1919, the National University of Therapeutics is the oldest extant college of Alternative Medicine.

This University was founded by Joe Shelby Riley and Hallan N. D. Parker, for the teaching of all types of medical and allied therapeutics, particularly those of Alternative Medicine. The university was amalgamated with First National University in 1928 and remains as a sister university under the First National University umbrella.

Now known as First National University of Therapeutics, the university grants the degree of Doctor of Alternative Medicine (A.M.D.), Doctor of Natural Therapeutics (D.N.T.) Doctor of Integrative Homeopathy (D.I.H.), Doctor of Holistic Massotherapy (D.H.Mt.), and other degrees in natural medicine.

The University also grants the academic degrees of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Master of Arts and Science (M.A. and M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).
